FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE PLAY CONTEST | THURS., APRIL 25, 2024
Welcome to the Freshman/Sophomore Play Contest. Participation in the contest should be low stress but well organized. A firm commitment from all directing teams and actors must be articulated through the provided contract at the time of entry.
FSPC— directed by members of the junior and senior classes, featuring actors from the freshman and sophomore classes.
Play Selections Should Be:
No more than 10 minutes (5-7 min encouraged) and contain high school appropriate content.
Directed by a team of no more than 2 juniors/seniors
The first 6 teams with written entry contracts will be included in this year’s contest. Complete the forms and send a photo/scan to Ms. Bucher at jasmine_bucher@pasd.us.

2024 SPRING ITS INDUCTION & RANK ADVANCEMENT CEREMONY
The ITS Induction and Rank Advancement Ceremony will be held on Tues., April 23 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. All parents and students are invited to this formal recognition of Excellence in High School Theatre.
AM I ELIGIBLE FOR INDUCTION & SHOULD I COMPLETE THE FORM BY MON., APRIL 15?
Yes, if you are a cast member who has completed 1 production.
Yes, if you are a crew or pit member who has completed 2 productions.
SHOULD I ATTEND THE CEREMONY?
Yes, all members of Palmyra Theatre should attend and arrive at 6 p.m. even if you are not being inducted (thespians in training) or if you have already been inducted (for rank advancement).
ITS Members have accumulated at least 100 hours of service to Palmyra Theatre and participate in service and community activities throughout the year. To remain active, they must participate in one of the annual productions.
All students should report at 6 p.m. and wear professional clothing.
Parents are invited to join us at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m.
Have you attended a recent area production?
Students who attend shows and complete the Performance Review Form will receive 1 Thespian Point.
